Newborn babies and care proceedings bulletin 11 – What do we know about parents with learning disabilities or difficulties?

The main focus of this issue was the findings of a research study on parents with learning disabilities or difficulties, funded by Nuffield Family Justice Observatory and carried out by the Institute of Public Care (IPC) at Oxford Brookes University. It also covered other relevant research about parents with learning disabilities, though not specifically focused on babies.

Newborn babies and care proceedings was a bulletin for professionals involved in safeguarding babies at or close to birth that provided links to a range of resources to assist them in this complex area of work.
