Legitimate interests
We process personal data for certain legitimate charitable purposes in accordance with our charitable aims. These include assessing grant applications, managing awarded grants, establishing multi-disciplinary projects and reviewing the effectiveness of our work over the short and long-term. This review process may include assessing the affiliations of grant holders and others to ensure that we are reaching an appropriate range of people and institutions.
We have a strong interest in bringing people together from within and without different research communities. In furtherance of this we will from time to time approach individuals and organisations who we believe would wish to hear about and/or contribute to specific work in which we are involved. Where we process your personal data for this aim, we do so with careful consideration of the impact on you and your rights under data protection law.
