Data analysts and CAFCASS meet for public and private law data discussion

Data analysts and Cafcass colleagues met in London to consider the potential of public and private law data produced routinely by the agency.

Administrative data is insufficiently explored for private law analysis in particular, which is surprising given the increasing number of cases coming before the family courts. Helping to improve access to, and demonstrating the practical value of administrative data for research and analysis, will be a key objective within the new Observatory.
