Born into care: infants in the family justice system

Cases of newborn babies subject to care proceedings raise particularly difficult challenges for all parties involved. The aim of this event, which was attended by over 120 practitioners, was to prompt conversations among all stakeholders about how the protection of newborn babies can be managed to minimise harm for all parties. The event highlights some examples of innovative practice from across the country. Thank you to all the presenters and attendees.
