Knowledge Engagement Lead: NFJO Development Team

Susannah Bowyer is Assistant Director at Research in Practice (RiP), a network for evidence-informed practice in child and family services. RiP was founded in 1996 and has current membership of 115 local authorities, children’s trusts and voluntary organisations.

Susannah leads on the varied portfolio of RiP network and project work. This includes: strategic leadership on network engagement and partnership support; senior editorial lead on RiP’s publications in various formats for a range of audiences; QA of research-based learning events; project leadership on a range of commissioned research and evaluation activities.

Susannah joined Research in Practice in 2006, after completing a doctorate in Social Anthropology at Manchester University in 2005 and teaching social sciences and research methods at Manchester, University College Dublin and the University of Plymouth.
